About 70 million American adults have high blood pressure—that’s 1 in every 3 American adults. It greatly increases the risk for heart disease and stroke, which are the first and third leading causes of death in the United States. There are often no symptoms of high blood pressure; therefore, all adults should have their blood pressure checked routinely.
The Webster County Health Unit offers free blood pressure checks on a walk-in basis at the following locations and hours:

- Monday-Friday 7:30am – 4:00pm
Marshfield Senior Center
