Staying healthy is one of the best ways that we know to enjoy the upcoming holidays. Here are some tips to help......- Make sure that you and your family up to date on your vaccines. Not getting sick is always a plus, especially around this time of year. Our nurses are here to help answer questions and to make sure that you're up to date on recommended vaccines.- Hand washing is a great way to keep from spreading germs.- Eating healthy and not overeating at holiday parties helps give our body the chance to fight off disease naturally.- Get plenty of sleep.- Create new holiday traditions. Something like getting the family (think multiple generations) together for something fun like the Gobble Wobble.- Stay active. Limit screen time and encourage one another to partake in physical activities like the Gobble Wobble.Hmmmmmmmm, it looks like taking part in the Gobble Wobble would be good all the way around. Speaking of which, we'd love to have you join us on Thanksgiving morning for Webster County's early morning Thanksgiving tradition. The Gobble Wobble is a 5k (ish) walk, run, jog, yadda, yadda; that starts promptly at 8:00 at the Health Unit (233 E. Washington in Marshfield).
