Here is an estimating timing map for thunderstorms today. Thunderstorms will move in from southeast Kansas during the late morning and early afternoon hours. Thunderstorms will become stronger as they move east with severe thunderstorms possibly developing by midday along and east of a Joplin to Nevada line. Storms will push east of the area by mid evening. Large hail and damaging winds are the most likely hazards. An isolated tornado will be possible over south central Missouri. It's going to be a super busy day for our dedicated mobile public health team.They will be back on the road this morning providing our services to the residents of Village of Diggins and Fordland. You'll find them across the street from Diggins Town Hall from 8:30-10:30 and then moving to the Fordland Senior Housing complex where you'll be able to find them until noon.
