Reportable Disease Conditions In Missouri, a reportable disease is one that health providers and laboratories are required by law to report to the local public health agency. Reportable diseases are of public interest and safety because of their contagiousness, severity, or frequency. You can learn more about specific reportable diseases from the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services.
